In a dimly lit corner of an old house, a small candle sat quietly, its tiny flame flickering softly in the darkness. The candle felt a deep sadness as it gazed around, cloaked in the gloomy embrace of shadows. It dreamed of being in a place filled with light, yearning to shine brightly and know the joy of true illumination.

One day, a young girl with a kind smile and gentle hands heard the silent wishes of the little candle. Understanding its longing, she promised to take it to a place where light knew no bounds.
Before long, the candle found itself in a vast and magnificent hall that glowed with countless lights. Grand chandeliers sparkled brilliantly from the ceiling, and elegant wall lamps cast warm, inviting glows. Overwhelmed by the splendor, the candle's tiny flame danced with glee.
Among the array of dazzling lights, a sleek desk lamp caught the candle’s attention. It stood proudly on a polished table, its design both modern and chic, perfectly complementing the grandeur of the hall. With admiration in its flicker, the candle spoke up, "Hi, friend, how lucky you are to be a light in such a bright place!"
The desk lamp responded with a slight air of disdain, "Me, a light? You are mistaken. I am a valued piece of an expensive collection."
The candle was puzzled by the lamp’s response. It wondered how the lamp could fail to recognize its own purpose as a source of light. It seemed that amidst the overwhelming brightness of the hall, the lamp had forgotten the essence of its true function.
Soon, it was time to return to the old, dark room. Back in the familiar gloom, the candle felt a strange sense of relief as it was lit once more. As its soft glow filled the room, transforming the dark corners into a dance of light and shadows, the candle realized something profound.
“I never knew darkness could be good too. Without it, I wouldn't have understood that I am indeed a light,” the candle thought joyfully. In that moment, the little candle embraced its role, understanding that even in darkness, it could bring warmth and light to those around it.
